The Perfect Cold Brew Coffee Recipe

The cold brewing method is one of the easiest and quickest ways to enjoy great tasting coffee, hot or cold.

1. Start with fresh, high quality coarse ground coffee. You can make small amounts for a single serving, or use a 12 oz. bag to make coffee for the entire week. 

2. For best flavor, use filtered water. Add 7-10 cups of water to a 12 oz. bag of coffee in a glass jar, or follow directions for your home cold brewing system. (Check out our new Cold Brew Kit for everything you need.)

3. Steep for 12-24 hours either in the fridge or on a counter top.

4. Drain coffee concentrate into another container, straining ground through a paper filter or fine mesh bag.

Enjoy Your Home Cold Brew Cold or Hot

To enjoy cold, use 1 part coffee to 1-3 parts water, milk, soy, or nut milk. To enjoy hot, combine coffee concentrate with 1-3 parts hot water.

Smaller Servings

For smaller servings, start with about 3/4 cups of water to 1 oz. ground coffee. Mix the coffee and water together in a glass container, and steep for 12-24 hours in the fridge or counter top. Drain coffee concentrate through a paper filter or fine mesh bag or cloth.
